Full Moon - a concept album?

Average: 5 (1 vote)

I first discovered Full Moon a little while after it was actually released... and I was coming out of a relationship - that had been off/on for 2 years...

Listening to that album really helped me.... 'specially songs like Apart, Nothing, When You Touch Me and Wow

And then i began thinking that, like 'Full Moon' (the title track) is about those nights when something crazy is about to happen... i then started to feel that the other songs/tracks ... represented other phases of the moon and by that i mean other phases of love and relationships...

with Wow being our new moon... and What About Us - being a waning moon (reltionship on it's way out)

anyways - amazing album! and tracks like, I Thought and What About Us? - are way ahead of their time when you listen to the likes of Ciara and Beyonce's Single Ladies

i agree too. i think i had to buy that album 3 times b/c i listened to it so much, i scratched them! i love full moon to this day! u have to give props to the darkchild family, especially rodney jerkins! they help her write some of the most beautiful songs!

I totally agree! That very album related to me so much when I was in a relationship..And i do agree her music is sincere and about her experiences. Her music can do nothing but help you or make you feel good! When you Touch me is on this album and it related to my long Distance relationship and it just gave me comfort knowing I wasn't alone....I just absolutely love her and I want her to continue to send out great messages especially to us girls/women!

I am with you - she is real and sooo cute in person Eye-wink

WOW!!!!!!! Very well said! I think that's the difference with Brandy other female singers out now. What she sings about truly comes from the heart and that’s why she’s able to speak to different situations that people are going through. Not to say that she is the only singer that’s does honest music, but she’s just so open and real with her music. Each song has a message about something Real, not about something materialistic.
